The organization is investigating the cause of the attack.Recently, scammers impersonated Uniswap executives on a Zoom recording and created a fake Uniswap website. Uniswap and the Uniswap Foundation aren’t associated with the suspects and are working to mitigate the scam’s impact.
REGULATIONThis week, the SEC brought charges against cryptocurrency exchanges Binance and Coinbase in consecutive days, alleging that both operated unlicensed securities exchanges in the United States. Officials from both exchanges have indicated that they are prepared to fight the charges.Last week, House Financial Services Committee Chairman Patrick McHenry and House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn Thompson released a draft of a crypto market structure bill. The proposal includes criteria for categorizing crypto assets as securities or commodities.
